Well, Saturday we had dinner with Maylis and Xtophe, they are in their countdown, about 3 weeks to the due date of their little boy . As you can see I still have to get some pounds to reach Maylis full volume … getting there….

El sabado cenamos con Maylis y Xtophe y ya estan en la cuenta atras, solo tres semanas para salir de cuentas, estan esperando un chico y puede llegar en cualquier momento. Testimonio grafico de la diferencia de volumen con ella … ya llegare

Yesterday we got our 6th month visit with the doctor. Eliott is growing normally . We did not see him this time, we could only hear his heart beating at 162 bpm!! . Mommy is doing great and more or less in control of the weight …. still some back problems but nothing serious, feeling much better that last month. Next appointment it will be in the hospital and soon we will start the birth classes.

We have a lot of fun playing with him already. When in bed, you can call him pushing my belly in one side, and he will come and kick in that very spot .. so cuuuuteeee!

Ayer tuvimos la visita del sexto mes, todo va bien, Eliott creze como tiene que ser. No pudimos verlo ya que no habia eco, pero pudimos oir su corazon que late alto y fuerte.. y rapido, a 162 pulsaciones por minuto! . Yo tambien estoy bien, en question de peso,  mas o menos como la media. Aun me duele un poquito la espalda, pero se puede llevar. Mucho mejor que el mes pasado. La proxima visita medica ya sera en el hospital y empezaremos las clases de preparacion al parto (JARL!).

Nos entretenemos mucho jugando con Eliott. Se le puede llamar dando golpecitos en mi barrigota en un lado… entonces viene a ese lado y pega una patada donde lo has llamado… muy obediente el chico

So finallly we found the name of our baby, yes, it is Eliott. How did we pick? I chose ~100 names from everywhere, books, websites in French, English, Spanish … I gave a copy to Guillaume and I got another copy for me. From the list we pick ~10 each and we looked at the common choices. The finalists were: Matias, Roman, Thomas, Timothe, Rafael and Eliott. Guillaume picked Eliott since day one – no way to make him change his mind (even when my father and my brother threaten with disinherit him right away) and he finally convinced me. It is not very easy to say in Spanish, specially for older people (I still have to manage my grandmother). And Eliott it is. It feels like an Eliott.

La historia del nombre: pues como ya habreis adivinado, ya tenemos nombre: Eliott. La eleccion no fue facil, despues de mucho pensar y mucho internet y mucho libro seleccione una lista de unos 100 nombres (si, si, el trabajo duro todo para mi ). Hice una copia de la lista para Guillaume y otra para mi, de ahi elegimos unos 1o nombres cada uno. Comparamos y 6 coincidian : Matias, Thomas, Rafael, Timothe, Roman y Eliott. Desde el principio Guillaume se decidio por Eliott, amor a primera vista, y no ha habido manera de moverlo (incluso cuando mi padre y mi hermano desheredadon a la criatura antes de nacer si se llamaba asi ) . Ya se que no es muy comun en Espana, pero bueno, tampoco nosotros somos comunes no? Las personas mayores tendran que practicar un poco, no paro de pensar en mi abuela. Asi que Eliott se llama. Y siento que le gusta.
